Started out about 12 down at the dam. Was unable to find an schools so headed out to Warm Creek. Found several small schools at the mouth on the east but couldnt get anything to like what we were throwing. Trolled all the way to the top with a Lucky and and an umbrella rig and picked up a couple of stripers on the way. My girlfriend also picked up her first hook throught her finger getiing one of the stipers off. I crimp my hooks so a good jerk with the pliers got it out smooth and easy!!
Once we got to the end of Warm we started to hit all the little coves with weeds in them on the east side and it was game on. Water temps were up to 67 in places and every little cone had 2 or 3 that liked us. Swim baits and ned rigs were what we put on the menue. Color didnt seem to matter. Weather was beyond fantastic and it was such a beatiful day on the lake!!!!
