Great time of year at Lake Powell.
I arrived at Bullfrog on the 7th and enjoyed 10 days in Bullfrog, and Halls Creek areas. Made some runs to Moqui, Lost Eden, and my favorite - Iceberg Canyon.
The guys on my boat caught blue gill, black crappie, walleye, small mouth bass, large mouth bass, and striped bass.
Early in the week was most productive. Saw boils in bullfrog at sunset Friday and Saturday night. Fishing slowed as a small front came in later in the week, but we still had a few good periods near sunrise and sunset for stripers.
One of the guys in our group caught a tagged walleye in halls during our trip. That was pretty exciting for all of us.
One of the pictures I attached is with a young man that caught his first striper. Way to go Zack!
The other pictures are the tagged walleye I mentioned, and some of the beauiful scenery that makes Powell so special.
Thanks for your efforts Richard, and Wayne.
I hope I'm not too late to score a cool KSL outdoors hat, and have a chance to win a tackle bag. There is always room in the boat for more swag!
