We parked the houseboat in Knowles Canyon July 11-15 as our base camp. A few walleye were caught on grubs tipped with a crawler. Nothing tagged but great eating non the less. We also got into the best boil fishing I have seen for years but it was only for one morning. Fish boiled for about an hour straight right behind the house boat. The electric motor made the fish much less boat shy. Most all top waters were effective. We also bought a bunch of stripers on chartreuse curly tails that were cast in search of walleye.
Great weather and trip.
