Here is the email reply you will get as soon as you sign up for the Tagged Walleye Tournament:

Thank you for signing up for the first tagged walleye contest to be held at Lake Powell.  The contest starts on July 1, 2016 (TOMORROW!) and will go for one year or until all prizes have been awarded.  We at the UDWR are really excited and hope you are as well.  We have been able to tag over 500 walleye so far and will continue to tag additional fish when we can.  I have attached a document with the current locations where fish have been tagged.
Fishing has been really good, especially out of Bullfrog, this year for walleye.  Earlier this week (06/27/2016) myself and one other angler caught 50 walleye using bottom bouncers in Bullfrog Bay.  For recent reports visit http://www.wayneswords.com/
We currently have $50.00 gift certificates donated by Sportsman Warehouse that will be given to the first 10 people to catch tagged fish.  We also have some great fishing gear and accessories donated by Stix Tackle shop, Fish Tech Outfitters and Berkley that will be given to those who catch a tagged fish or registered contestants who send in a fishing report (with pictures) that helps others catch more walleye at Lake Powell.  Please send fishing reports to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . You can also post your reports at http://www.wayneswords.com/
The purpose or goals of the contest are:
1. HAVE FUN
2. Help others catch walleye
3. Increase harvest of walleye in Lake Powell (Walleye in Lake Powell are an underutilized and would benefit from additional harvest)
Remember have fun and good luck!  If you have any questions please let us know
